This is the beginning of the new year and many people have come to the internet in search of the fastest way to lose weight. This is the one area of people’s lives that they tend to struggle with; it seems that the weight is difficult to shed.

I wanted to provide you with 5 ways to lose weight that are considered the fastest way to lose weight.

1. Water: There is a reason that doctors tell people to drink at least eight glasses of water everyday. Not only will help your body function better; but research shows that it is also great for helping you drop the weight. The water helps the kidneys function properly and will provide you with the metabolism that your body requires. Plus if you try drinking a glass of water 10-15 minutes before you sit down to eat; you will feel fuller and will be less likely that you will overeat.

2. Eat More: You read it right medical studies have been done and they are all saying that we should begin eating 5-6 meals per day. This will help your body build up metabolism and will prevent it from going into starvation mode and storing fat because it becomes afraid that it will not be fed.

3. Eat Breakfast: I do not care how much you say that you do not have time for breakfast; this is the most important meal of the day and should never be skipped. Your body has not received any nutrients for at least eight hours while you have been asleep; it needs to be provided with some nutrients to get going.

4. Walking: This is one of the best ways to begin shedding weight; you can start off slowly by just walking for around the block for about 30 minutes per day and gradually increasing the amount of time that you exercise.

5. Smaller Portion: We mentioned earlier that you should increase the amounts of meals that you eat on a regular basis; however you want to ensure that your portions are smaller.
