Crash Diets Part Two Effects On Your Body

As you know crash diets do not work and this is the not the best way to try to lose weight. So why is it that many men and women are known to try to lose weight using crash diets? I will tell you why I believe they attempt to lose weight using crash diets; it is fast and you can avoid exercising and learning how to eat the right types of foods.

The truth is that not only should you avoid crash diets because they do not work; but they also will have effects on your body. No one wants to lose weight if there are downfalls to it.

Many people fail to understand the effects of on your body from trying to lose weight using crash diets. I wanted to provide you a list of some of the downfalls that it can have on your body:

1. Your body will lack to get the nutrients that it will need to provide your energy to function.

2. Since you are not feeding your body the nutrients it requires; your body will begin looking for alternate sources of energy from stored fat and muscle!

3. You will notice that your memory and brain functions will become slower and more hampered.

4. It will affect your adrenal glands and they will not function properly.

5. If you have metabolism then it will start working in reverse and instead of burning fat; your body will begin storing fat.

6. You will not have the energy that you currently have and your reaction times will become slower.

7. It will affect your kidneys because they will not be receiving the required carbohydrates.

All these reasons should be enough to avoid crash diets. While you may find yourself losing the weight that you want; it is not worth the side effects that it is going to have on your body.
